NEWS AND VIEWS - APRIL 2025
Not a lot going on this month -- after finally finishing Lillandra in March, I decided to take a little break from the writing. I did finish a couple of Signalverse shorts, "Ankhara and the Anzu Bird" and "Life in the Fast Lane", which are both available on my Patreon, but apart from that, and some more work on the new edition of the Complete Guide, I've been taking it pretty easy. Still don't know what my next big writing project will be. An idea for a new Signalverse novel hit me like a bolt of lightning a few weeks ago, and I proceeded to write up an extremely detailed outline for it (it's called Signal Solutions, or maybe Superhuman Solutions), so that might wind up being my next project just by default. Or I might write a few more Signalverse shorts: I have an idea for a detective-style Silver Shot mystery set in the late 1960's, and I'd like to write at least one adventure set during World War II. 
(I actually have a ton of World War II-era adventures plotted out: Lodestar and Epee working together to battle Volkert the Necromancer in Norway in 1942; the Selectmen rooting out Black Axis agents during a charity baseball game in Boston; Pin-Up Girl and Radium Man hunting for magical artifacts in Santa Florentina in 1944; and so on. All of the Signalverse stories I've written so far have taken place between 2014 and 2025, so going back and chronicling some of these historical adventures might be a nice change of pace.) But that's pretty much all I've got, as far as writing news. |
